Voting Question: What do you think of the Presidents remarks about Vegas?
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/us_obama_las_vegas I sometimes gamble. I just lost some money at a casino the other day. So the President thinks people should save money for hard times instead of spending it in Vegas. I don’t like him saying that BUT he was right. I wish I had listened to him a couple of days ago. I might still have a bit more purchasing power. Anyway VEGAS should just shut up! The real reason Vegas is having so much trouble is because Casino’s are getting built all over the country and who needs to go to Vegas to gamble when you can drive up the street or a state or two over. This isn’t rocket science……Before you say the President shouldn’t just pick on Vegas because there are other casinos I will say this. Vegas is a metaphor. The culture of deceit is ruining our country. It’s not just our government, it’s us. All of us are to blame. People in Haiti and many other places were dying when I lost my money at that casino. You can say that we can’t worry about other people but sometimes it’s best if we. So, Mr. President…Thank you for reminding me myself and all other Americans have more to give to the world than just hard earned dollars to some rich casino corp from Japan or Europe. It’s just looking in….don’t take it to serious.
